Coordinating an international ERP rollout

Extending the ERP to an overseas group company required a solution that was consistent with the existing systems landscape while supporting local operations.

The initiative could not be treated as a simple installation. Configuration, integrations and the transition to effective use had to progress as connected parts of one coordinated change.

I was responsible for coordinating configuration, integration and go-live, maintaining alignment between business needs, the stakeholders involved and delivery of the solution.

The key was to retain an end-to-end view: each application decision also had to be assessed for its impact on processes, dependencies and go-live.

This coordination kept the different parts of the initiative connected and supported the transition from solution definition to operational use.
